We were absolutely delighted and honoured to be able to offer the opportunity for some of our Junior members and their families to take part in a special family evening of making pizza's courtesy of Virgil Van Dijk and the Owen McVeigh Foundation.
The day started magically for the children and their families when they received a special visit from the premier league trophy!
The look on the children's face's was priceless.
Then at 6pm they all joined up on zoom and took to the kitchen with their families and spent a very enjoyable evening making pizza's expertly guided by Dave Critchley who is the executive chef at Luban restaurant in Liverpool.
The day became even more magical for the children when Virgil surprised them all and joined in the zoom meeting.
Virgil then spoke to all the children with a special message and they all responded by singing his name and the look of joy on Virgil's face was priceless, a truly wonderful human being.
