Everyone at the LDSA was deeply saddened to hear about the recent passing of the partner of Joe Baxter, Anna Norbury.
Anna was a regular attendee at our LDSA functions and together with Joe she was the life and soul of the party.
Anna won the hearts of millions when she played Alice Farnham in Brookside, she will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
We send our deepest condolences to Pat, Tony and Joe at this very sad and difficult time.

A Message from the Baxter family
Joe, Pat and I would like to thank you for your kind words of support.
Anna was a beautiful young woman who came into Joe's life 6 years ago when they met at college. They were hoping to move into their own supported house in the near future. Unfortunately, those plans have now gone.
We are all devastated by Anna's death which came so suddenly.
Anna was an Everton supporter and Joe obviously supports Liverpool but that did not stop them being a perfect match. Anna came to several LDSA dinners and met a few of the players. She could be seen dancing the night away with Joe at these functions.
I should also have mentioned that Anna's funeral took place on Thursday and the photo below is of the flowers that Joe sent, red for Liverpool and blue for Everton.
Joe wrote a reflection for Anna which he read out in church.
