We recently had the privilege of taking some of our junior members and their families from the Liverpool Disabled Supporters Association on a very special stadium tour at Anfield, and it was truly a magical experience. From the moment they arrived, the exceptional tour guides went above and beyond to accommodate every need, ensuring a seamless and inclusive experience.
The tour began with a walk through the Main Stand, where the history of Liverpool’s recent managers was beautifully brought to life. Our guide, Lennie, was nothing short of outstanding. His knowledge and passion shone through as he tailored the tour to engage the children, making it both educational and thoroughly enjoyable.
One of the highlights was exploring Liverpool Football Club’s illustrious history, including its six European Cup victories. The stories of those iconic triumphs captivated everyone, bringing the club’s legacy to life. But nothing could compare to the children’s delight when they entered the Liverpool dressing room. Seeing their hero’s shirts hanging up in the dressing room brought priceless joy, and their excitement only grew when they received an early Christmas present from LFC. This surprise made their day even more unforgettable.
The visit concluded with time spent on the pitch and a fascinating museum tour packed with incredible Liverpool memorabilia. From start to finish, the stadium tour team ensured every child had an inclusive, memorable, and inspiring experience.
We are deeply grateful to the team for their care, enthusiasm, and dedication, which made this day so special for the children and their families. It’s an experience we’ll never forget, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who loves football, history, and creating lasting memories. Thank you, Anfield and the stadium tour team, for a day to cherish!
