Premier League Trophy viewing and Anfield Stadium tour

Saturday the 22nd of August was meant to be our day trip to Glenbuck. The birthplace of our legendary manager Bill Shankly. A man, who as our manager, brought three league championships and one UEFA Cup back to Anfield. Unfortunately this trip had to be postponed due to the ongoing panademic . Given though what many people had been through in recent months, we felt the members booked on this trip needed a day to remember.

Our current manager Jürgen Klopp has just equaled Bill by bring four trophies back to Anfield. This gave us an idea. Therefore it was arranged that these members would get a private viewing of the latest acquisition, The Premier League Trophy.

Liverpool FC made sure that we were extremely well looked after and we had plenty of room to socially distance. Nothing was too much trouble and our members got the chance for both group and individual photos; this included holding the trophy although no one attempted the Henderson shuffle.
Afterwards the party was given priory access to the Liverpool FC tour. At the start of the tour everyone was given a souvenir guide courtesy of the LDSA. Throughout the visit the party was well looked after by Liverpool FC stewards and tour guides and had plenty of time to enjoy Anfield. Seeing the new Champions Wall was certainly a highlight. It was easy to see why the Liverpool FC Stadium tour has been nominated in the 'Best Tours for Locals' category in the GetYourGuide Awards 2020. Follow this link to cast your vote and found out how to have the chance of winning a £180 GetYourGuide giftcard.

Once the tour was over everyone received a LDSA goodie bag and was free to visit the museum.
