I’m Jack Booth, a sports journalism student at the University of Huddersfield. I’m wanting to speak to disabled football supporters to help me with my dissertation research into the representation of disabled football supporters. This is an area of interest to me as a fellow disabled matchgoer.
I want to find out about people’s experiences and stories of attending live football matches - what they enjoy about going to the football, what barriers they feel that they sometimes come across at stadiums both at home and away games, what clubs and society as a whole could improve upon in order to make football more inclusive for disabled matchgoers.
