About the LDSA

LIVERPOOL DISABLED SUPPORTERS ASSOCIATION

Welcome to the Liverpool Disabled Supporters Association (LDSA). Our aim is to be the home of Liverpool FC supporters who have a disability and people who facilitate them in this goal. In the spirit of this, our committee reflects this ethos accordingly and encompasses a range of disabilities in addition to members who facilitate disabled supporters to attend events. Our committee welcomes suggestions, feedback and comments on any Liverpool FC event attended by our members.

The LDSA was established in 2003 by Liverpool FC in conjunction with disabled supporters of Liverpool FC. With affiliation to Liverpool FC the LDSA addresses issues affecting disabled supporters relating to stadium access, pitch view, parking, disabled toilets, access to retail outlets and any other matters relating to facilities for disabled people. Our intention is to be bringing together like-minded Liverpool FC disabled supporters to help ensure a fantastic match day experience for everyone. To enable this, the LDSA has monthly official meetings with Liverpool FC representatives and the minutes can be found in our document store. In order to make these meetings a success, we welcome feedback from our members via our contact page or email us.

Throughout the year the LDSA hold events such as a Christmas party, Awards Evening and members forums. We believe it is important to offer a signpost service to our members on events that maybe of interest to them and this can be found on our events page. Here you will find LDSA, LFC Foundation and Liverpool FC event details, many of which are free. On a regular basis we email out a newsletter, this can be found in our document store along with previous versions. If you wish to sign up to our newsletter please fill in this form.

The launch of our website in 2018 marked a significant milestone in the life of the LDSA, and in 2020 it was refreshed to reflect the needs of our members. Along with our regular newsletters and social media channels, the aim is to allow like-minded supporters to join forces to enjoy the match, attend regular meetings, discuss the latest team news, or the facilities that Liverpool FC provide. With this in mind on our articles page you will find articles written by members, for members. If you want to send in an article please email us.

Our publication The Twelfth Man was launched in June 2020 to coincide with the return of football following the hiatus caused by the Coronavirus global pandemic. It is published twice yearly by member for members. Contributions are always welcome for this publication, please use our contact page for further details.

We recognise that each member has an individual need and we are keen to hear from members as to what direction they would the LDSA to take. Details of how to contact the LDSA can be found on our contact page.

Although the LDSA is recognised by Liverpool FC as an official supporters’ group we have no role or influence in the sale or allocation of match tickets. If you are requiring information on tickets, please click here to be taken to disability section of Liverpool FC’s website
